Privacy Policy
The short version
Our games don't collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your game progress stays on your device.
If you email us, we use your email only to reply to you.
Who we are
Door Nine Games is an Australian games company. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Door Nine Games. This policy covers our games and this website.
Our games
What we collect
Nothing. Our games don't ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information, and they don't need an account.
Your saved game
The game saves your progress and settings (such as sound volume) on your device so you can carry on where you left off. This information stays on your device. It isn't sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the game deletes it.
No ads, analytics or tracking
Our games contain no advertising, no analytics tools and no third-party tracking code. We don't track you across other apps or websites.
Purchases
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store (and, in future, Google Play). Apple or Google handles your payment details under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details. We only receive sales reports that don't identify you.
Crash reports
If you've chosen in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us crash reports and basic usage statistics. These don't identify you, and we use them only to fix problems. You can turn this off at any time in your device's privacy settings.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to help with your question. We keep it only as long as we need to, and we don't add you to any mailing list unless you ask us to.
Our email is hosted by Zoho, which stores messages on our behalf.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for a short time, for security and to keep the site running.
Sharing your information
We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only if the law requires us to.
Children
Our games are suitable for players of all ages. Because they collect no personal information, they collect none from children. If a child emails us, we use the email only to reply. A parent can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you (in practice, only emails you've sent us). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
If you have a privacy concern, please email us first and we'll do our best to fix it. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a future game works differently (for example, if it needs an online feature), we'll say so here before it's released.
